Offering fantastic views down the coast to the Tay Road Bridge and beyond, Dundee cruise port is located on the River Tay in the east of Scotland. As the country’s fourth-largest city, it is a popular departure point for cruisers and can easily accommodate two ships at any one time. Cruise and Maritime Voyages, Saga and Azamara are just some of the cruise lines that have visited in the recent past.
Dundee’s waterfront area is currently undergoing a regeneration, with the goal of making it a ‘world leading waterfront destination for visitors and businesses’. The 30-year project started in 2000 and has so far seen the creation of Slessor Gardens (public gardens and event space), a new train station and the impressive V&A Dundee. The cruise terminal’s close proximity to the city centre and the new attractions on the waterfront makes cruises from Dundee an attractive prospect.
