Review of Anthem of the Seas

Anthem of the Seas

After having a very memorable trip on the Anthem of the Seas, it’s only fair to paint a picture of the experience we had. Bryan and I have been with many cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean’s other ships, and this is in no doubt the best experience on-board we have ever had.

From the dining to entertainment, Royal Caribbean have made huge leaps in delivering the true quality of what a cruise experience should be. I hope your sitting down, as I would like to paint the picture of becoming a guest on the Anthem of the Seas.

Most people dream of being able to fly, and now with RipCord by IFLY, you can experience the exhilarating feeling of weightlessness in complete safety – whilst at sea! Step inside a 23ft glass skydiving simulator, and allow the rush of air to lift you up. There’s also a viewing platform where your family and friends can watch the fun.

If that’s still not enough of a thrill for you, then take a ride on the North Star, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the ship, and the great expanse of ocean all around you from 300ft above the sea. You also have the option of booking onto a sunset ride and soar high in the sky for a real WOW experience.

As well as all of this, you will now experience the new innovation of the SeaPlex. Whether you enjoy the thrill of Bumper Cars, learning how to fly through the air on your circus high flying lesson, or even kicking back in the Xbox One Lounge, you will be blown away with the capability of the largest indoor active space at sea.

You can also enjoy the much loved classic activities, such as the FlowRider surf simulator, Rock Climbing Wall, or a game of mini-golf. Or simply kick back and relax in the adult-only Solarium, and treat yourself to a luxurious spa treatment, while the kids let off some steam in an award-winning kids programme.

After a long day, packed full of exciting activities, you will have no doubt worked up quite an appetite. Dining on board Anthem of the Seas is like no other eating experience at sea, this is called Dynamic Dining.

The Anthem of the Seas has done away with some of the more traditional, formal rules, in favour of a more relaxed approach to dining. Take your pick from 18 different restaurants, bringing you the finest food from around the world, as well as some classic favourites.

Royal Caribbean have teamed up with the likes of Jamie Oliver, Michael Schwartz and Devin Alexander to bring you three of the best-quality restaurant experiences from these world-renowned celebrity chefs. Or for something else special, book a table in the new Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine restaurant.

Now you have experienced the delights of dining at sea with Anthem of the Seas, it’s time for your awarding winning Show. The entertainment staff with Royal Caribbean have been awarded with being some of the best entertainers at sea and deliver the very best live shows. You will find yourself thinking you are at a prestigious venue in London’s West End with the music, lighting and artists themselves all of the highest quality. The show on offer is ‘We Will Rock You’, and I assure you, they do!

This is only a snippet of what Anthem of the Seas has to offer, if you would like any more information, have any questions or would like to book this amazing ship then just let us know.
