Guided Tours, you are not alone...

Written By:

In my spare time I do tour guides at one of London’s most famous landmarks. Once the tour has finished I can honestly say that the group will leave with more knowledge of the place that when they arrived, something that gives me great satisfaction as a job well done.

The same goes when someone goes on holiday to a place and like my group they want to learn more about the actual destination or city they are visiting. Yes we can read the many “City guide books” and marvel at the sights in front of us. But when you want to ask a question the language barrier gets in the way and not all of the time do we get the answer that we were hoping.

Together with Riviera Travel we offer such “guided tour holidays” whether they are short European city breaks, Worldwide or themed River Cruises. The latter being on the increase as it gives you the chance to see Europe from the comfort of your en suite cabin at very reasonable prices. With such City breaks starting from £269 in Paris on a 4 day visit, and yes it includes transport, hotel (B/B 3*) and the tour guide. The advantage is that you can be reassured that you will be looked after.

Below are some genuine feedback comments from customers.

Just returned home from Paris with my wife. We would both like to say how much we enjoyed ourselves, the hotel was 1st class & organised trips were very good. We would both also like to say a big thank you to your rep ANDY, who was absolutely brilliant. He looked after us all, was very informative and attentive. He is an asset to your company.
Many thanks

I was on this trip with my husband and 2 friends and would just like to say how much we loved the whole experience. However we are all agreed that the guide Suzanne made this trip exceptional. Hopefully we will be booking with you again.

Where do we go?

Bruges, Prague, Vienna, Normandy, Loire Valley, Dordogne, Berlin including Rhine Valley, Greece, Italy including Lake Garda/Maggiore, Sicily plus the Iberia peninsular and Poland. Further afield we offer China (including great wall), India, Japan, Indo-China featuring the Mekong River, South Africa with Safari, Israel, Jordan/Petra plus Tunisia/Roman Carthage. Across the “Pond” Canada with the Rocky Mountaineer/ Cruising in Alaska and California.

The new "hot" destination is Burma, untouched for half a century this former British Colony has opened its doors to the world. With many areas still un-spoilt and with its breath-taking views, as mentioned by Jeremy Clarkson of BBC’s Top Gear whilst on one of their TV specials, this will be undoubtedly be a great photo opportunity.

Summary

Just one phrase to finish… "Passionate about travel"
Bon voyage…
