I have always had a passion for travel, having grown up on the paradise island of Mauritius, you could say travel is in my blood. I am fluent in both English and French, as well as Mauritian Creole. I have visited many wonderful places over the years and experienced so many fascinating and vibrant cultures, I would love to share my travel experience with you and help to make your holiday memorable. My favourite cruise ship..
My favourite Cruise Ship is the AmaMagna, operated by AmaWaterways. Built in 2019, I think this new addition to the Ama fleet looks absolutely stunning. It's a Luxurious Boutique hotel on the River. Double the width of a traditional river cruise vessel but still having the same number of guests, so plenty of space to move around. The ship has quieter more fuel efficient engines, a solar heating system, and they even provide recyclable glass water bottles and paper straws in all staterooms. Because of her size she is used exclusively on the Danube, being too big to manoeuvre down the smaller tributaries. The AmaMagna has 4 restaurants, a wellness centre and even carries her own fleet of bicycle for the guest to use.
A cruise on the AmaMagna takes you through some of the most beautiful cities in Europe, UNESCO world heritage sites and spectacular scenery. You can experience wine tasting at local vineyards, bike rides along the river bank and guided tours of historic sites. You can also take time to explore your surronding at your own pace, go shopping or take in a show, dine at local restaurants, all while your Luxurious Boutique Hotel is moored close by.
