I wanted to drop you a line to say just how impressed me and my wife were with your services.  Previously, for every holiday, my wife has researched everything and then booked it all herself - and this was the intention again this time.  The amount of time that goes into researching everything - country, ships, food, beaches, travel etc etc etc is ridiculous, but it's what we've always done.  This time we thought we'd make a change and let someone else try.  

Oh my word.  

We have a pretty good understanding of what an exceptional customer experience is like.  Sharon and her team at Go Cruise and Travel not only fully understand what this means, but they execute it without drama or show.   It was exceptional.  Not only was everything taken care of, and we were listened to at every step with everything catered for, it was then explained that, because we had booked through the travel agent, then if anything were to 'go amiss' during our trip - anything - we had just one telephone number to call.  This call would then set in motion everything that would be required to put everything right.  We would have no need to worry about anything, it would be taken care of.

Firstly, to have someone actually listen to you - and I mean listening to understand, rather than listening to then tell you what they think you should do - was a departure from previous experiences.  A very welcome departure.  That, in itself, let's you believe that this is a different kind of company.  Everything from that point onwards was brilliant.  The service in the shop was brilliant, the follow up communications was when it was supposed to be (sadly lacking in other businesses), the details were correct etc etc etc.  We even had a follow up phone call to ensure we had received everything and was there anything else they could do.

Sadly, due to illness a few short days before our trip, we were not able to travel.  Having invested several thousands of pounds in our holiday you are then worried about what you need to do to claim everything back.  Step forward the exceptional GoCruise and Travel business.  We needn't have worried.  They took care of everything for us (for the things that were in their control).  Dealing with our insurance people was the polar opposite of dealing with Sharon and her team.  If only, as a professional business coach, I could instil the attitude and behaviours (and, clearly, their systems and processes) of the team at Go Cruise and Travel (Grimsby) in every other business, we would have some amazing businesses.

I can't praise Sharon and her team highly enough.  'Disney-esque' says everything about them.  Thank you.

After a turbulent year, nothing was too much trouble for Sharon; rebooking and arranging our fcc for our next 🚢 big holiday! Highly recommend - such a lovely local friendly agent ! A nice little thank you goes a long way! ☺️

I just wanted you all to know how fantastic the staff are in Grimsby, it was my husband's 50th birthday and we booked a cruise through Sharon. Everything was just perfect from me phoning up, asking silly questions, booking other things, making sure everything was ok and on the day till us coming back so thank you to everyone in Grimsby, they are all lovely staff and I will definitely be booking through them again.
