I manage and operate "GoCruise - Jane & Rhys" with my husband - Rhys! We are both passionate about travel and especially cruising.
We love to share our experiences and knowledge of cruise lines. We are pleased to offer advice to those who have not cruised before and to those who may like to try a different cruise line and/or destination. After all, there is a cruise out there for everyone, it is just knowing which one to choose. As well as cruise holidays we also organise land-tours and are pleased to offer our expertise in planning tailor-made holidays to provide something a bit different, or maybe a longer stay at the beginning or end of a voyage. Being members of ABTA and holding an ATOL licence you can rest assured that your holiday is fully protected.close ↑
Why GoCruise with Jane Bowenread more ↓
We joined GoCruise in 2008. In that time we have undertaken extensive training, both on and off some fabulous ships, as well as gaining knowledge about individual destinations and their ports.
Each enquiry is dealt with on a personal basis as every customer is individual in their preferences and requirements. Whether you are looking for a holiday aboard one of the new super-liners, or a mid-sized more traditional cruise ship, or the intimacy of the small ship experience, we will have the cruise for you. Around 80% of our clients are repeat customers who know they can trust our knowledge and professionalism at all times.close ↑
Cruise Experienceread more ↓
My first cruise was in 1974 on the old QE2. This was with my parents and I recall loving the independence (or at least I thought it was!) of being in the children's club. From then on I have cruised regularly, later introducing Rhys and then our two children to the world of cruise. They too have never looked back. In fact even though our children are now independent adults they never turn down an opportunity to cruise!
Our first cruises were in the Western Mediterranean. I think my favourite Med. port of call being Monte Carlo. It never ceases to wow me from the moment we sail towards the bay at dawn and see the familiar skyline of the hillside of ascending modern buildings and the castle and splendid palace perched at the top of the cliff. Later we cruised the Norwegian Fjords enjoying the stunning scenery from the perfect position of a cruise ship (even from a warm outside Jacuzzi, G&T in hand!). Followed by the Baltic and Caribbean. Recently we fancied something different and for our Silver Wedding Anniversary we took an intimate mega-yacht cruise, only 22 passengers, around Cuba. Ask me which is my favourite... They all are! Each cruise holds its own special memories.close ↑
