Cruising – not just a passion, more a way of life.
Having spent the majority of my life at sea, starting in the catering department on cross channel ferries prior to an engineering apprenticeship with Shaw Savill Line, I reckon that the sea is in my blood.. Having spent 24 years, travelling over a million miles at sea and ending my career as Chief Engineer with Carnival Group the call of the sea still beckons and the passion is as strong as ever.
Selling cruising is something that gives me a real ‘buzz’ being able to impart my extensive knowledge and passion to my clients, both new and returning.
Cruising is a marvellous way of taking a vacation, be it on a Niche cruise product to cruising on a large floating resort, there is something for everyone and the choice is completely yours to do as little or as much as you desire and to wake up each day in a new destination.
There is certainly no other vacation that compares, especially in terms of value for money, try going to a hotel for the weekend and taking in a show and enjoying a five course meal, and then look at a cruise where you can be pampered, wined and dined and entertained, night after night, there is no comparison...close ↑

In today’s current economic climate it is understandable that people are going to be more careful with how they spend their money on a vacation but I truly believe that the value of a cruise is exceptional and if the client speaks with a Cruise Ambassador they will appreciate the true value for money of a cruise.
The option to not fly to a cruise has never been better with so many cruises commencing from ports throughout the UK and should they wish to join a cruise in Europe the opportunity is there to connect via Eurostar and Europe’s High Speed rail links and travel in comfort for a similar price as a return flight, just imagine avoiding the Airport hassle!close ↑
Cruise Experienceread more ↓
Cruising imparts so many memories from seeing the Northern Lights, cruising the river Danube to a cruise from the west to east coast of America through the Panama Canal, all very different but all quite amazing.
To be able to choose a favourite is difficult but I certainly have fond memories of cruising from Sydney to New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands, especially Tahiti, cruising from Sydney Harbour is an experience like no other.
Of the cruise lines that we tend to return to Disney Cruise line, their attention to detail that is second to none, and Azamara Cruises and Celebrity Cruises have to be there at the top of the list, why, its the overall experience and ambience on board that appeals to us and the food must rank as some of the best we have ever had at sea, need I say more.
The cruising image has really changed so much in the last few years with so many diverse options from the cruise lines that are now catering for a much wider client base and with more new cruise ships arriving every year, from Niche to the largest in the world there has never been a better time to be ‘passionate’ about cruising and encourage both new and returning clients to cruise.close ↑
