Cruising has come a long way from the days when my parents took me for my first cruise many years ago. I am passionate about this great and rewarding industry and sharing this with my customers is what our business is all about. From the numerous seminars and exhibitions that I have attended as well as various shows I pass my knowledge and expertise to help paint a picture for my customer. Whether you are a first timer or a serious cruiser, at GoCruise my aim is to help you get your ideal cruise.
My background is in customer services which emphasises in promoting and recommending the right cruise to my customers, not solely on price as each person has different ideas, taste and budgets.
Having been at GoCruise for over 3 years I have gained much knowledge and met some great people who have worked in the industry. We all strive to make our services the best and my role is to make sure that I offer what the guest is looking for.
Being a member of the CLIA-Cruise line international association (Previously known as ACE-Association Cruise Experts) is a vast advantage due to the high quality training and growing support.close ↑

I often get asked about “where do we go?”, “what’s on board?”, “I thought it was for a certain age group”…In any travel service misconceptions always plays a part. Value for money is the key to a good cruise holiday; it anchors a good bond between the guest and the respective Cruise line. We don’t simply sell cheap cruises we sell them at the right price, we believe in fairness and all round customer satisfaction. Being up to date on the cruise world and personal knowledge on brands helps us to understand the customers’ needs.
We have a good rapport with all major cruise lines and we often get invited to visit ships to see for ourselves what they offer, is the food as good as they say it is and the activities/entertainment that they offer. This helps me to underpin a good service when talking to customers, especially face to face, at exhibitions or on the phone. It helps create a picture to newcomers.
Having created a healthy database my customers contact me direct and not a call centre, with up to date cruise offers my customers are always informed of any good deals that they are looking to book. My aim is to help the customer choose their ideal Cruise holiday.close ↑
Cruise Experienceread more ↓
For the past few years interesting destinations have been added including extra overnight stays - meaning that you can experience places from the comfort of the cruise ship. Imagine having breakfast on your balcony as the ship glides into another exotic or colourful port. The amazing and fun filled Caribbean, the popular Mediterranean, the Fjords with their spectacular scenery or maybe farther afield in the mysterious Far East. More recent additions have been the two Polar Regions, South America, Dubai, the Amazon River and the great Australian secret - Kimberly near Darwin. River cruises are relaxing, peaceful and get you to the heart of any great city. The Danube and the Rhine in Europe plus the Yangtze in China are just some that you can choose. Many offer as part of the package excursions, lectures and even free bike hire - not forgetting the exquisite food.
We all have our “dream cruise”, mine is visiting Antarctica on one of the few well equipped expedition cruise lines such as Hapag Lloyd or Silversea Expedition, but that’s another topic.
What is my favourite cruise line? Having a young family we tend to lean on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Pullmantur and MSC simply because of what they offer-Service, activities, all inclusive and value for money for a family. Moving onto the higher category, Oceania Cruises, Regent seven seas and Azamara Club Cruises are two that I specialise in. River cruising is an area where I feel that the “veteran cruiser” will enjoy as an alternative. Increasing in numbers both passengers and ships alike they visit the heart of Europe, with the man made canal joining Danube and Rhine you can now sail from Amsterdam to the Black Sea. Viking and Ama Waterways are two brands where we work closely with.
For the adventurer out there Star Clippers, the only cruise line with 3 sailing ships, Hurtigruten the back bone of Norway’s coastline offering off the cuff Arctic voyages all year round and Hapag Lloyd, cruising in 5 star to the seven corners of the world. More classic brands such as Fred Olsen & Voyages to Antiquity offer quality themed cruises making that special voyage more special.close ↑
